Help the Customer for Get the Best Computer

by Ethan Skylerr

Computers are one of the most used consumer products in the modern world, with millions of computers being sold each month. One of the very interesting things about computers is that irrespective of how popular these products might be nonprofessional knows little about what they should be looking for, when looking to buy a computer in Florida or other local computer retailer to guide them in the right direction.

When shouldered with the responsibility of assisting your customer by the right computer, it is very important to determine what the computer system will be used for. Following are few tips that should help the computer sales professional find the best computer system for the customer:

What the Customer is looking for

First, determine why the customer is looking for a new computer. Mostly the customer is looking to replace their computer as they find their current system to be slow or cannot run the desired software.
Inquire the customer about what is he going to use the computer for. Most customers are looking for the fastest computer without realizing if that is what they really need. If the computer will only be used for internet and emails then there is no need to get the fastest or the most expensive computer out there. Customer only needs to get the computer, which suits his needs the best.

Determine what kind of features the customer will need. If a customer doesn't have much knowledge when it comes to computers, most of the times it is the first two queries that will give you a very good idea about what the customer should be getting. The reason for this question is to determine if there are any other features that they might need.

Budget

Inquire the customer about their budget. Different people have different ways of thinking some people want to get the best regardless of the budget, some customers have a certain budget and they are looking to get the best within that budget. There are high performance computers out there for $1,000 and $ 2,000 as well; you need to determine which suits the customer best.

A professional first asks relevant questions from the customer before they start telling them the differences between different computers. Gathering useful information will not only help the customer, it will also make things easier for you. It will also make the customer feel at home; as they will realize that you not just looking to get the money out of their pocket but you also want them to get the best computer out there for them.

Computers and Internet - An Irrepressible Evolution

From vacuum Tubes to microprocessors, computers have continued to evolve unlike the human race. It was in the early 80's when IBM introduced their first computer to the home user. It was fast, cooler and meaner. This machine sat placid on your desk and did anything in a jiffy as opposed to its grandfathers. The man behind the success was none other than the Intel microprocessor. This chip consisted of several transistors which regulated information electronically. It would do all the tasks in the world and still fit in your palm. Today's microprocessors are different from its predecessors. But they are developed around the same architecture and logic. These little machines have made computers smaller and easier to interconnect. Until then, the internet was more or less in the implementation phase. It was accessed only by computer experts and other scientists. Personal computers made more universities and organizations interconnect. This enabled the comparatively les...
